My PeePee is big!

5 December 2006 | Happiness (Mental Health) | No Comments

In my 3 year old son’s ultimate quest to embarrass Mama today, he reached his hand in his pants and said, “Mama… what is wrong with my Pee Pee? It’s big?!”… and this was at the grocery store in front of several people. She said they all laughed and went on with their shopping. But I’m left wondering..

WTF?? Is my son attracted to groceries?! Hmmmmmmm………..

Dada, I Wuv Yew!

13 August 2006 | Purpose (Spiritual Health) | No Comments

Today my two year old son walked up to me, gave me a big ol’ hug, and said, “Dada, I Wuv Yew!” This was the first time he did that for no reason, and I just can’t describe the feeling. You would have to experience it to know. It felt so great, that I think it gave me a few more years of life!

I hope nothing ever causes us to stop telling each other how we have such great love and respect for the other.

Wolfberries?!

Wolfberries are the bomb! …the nutritionally rich bomb, that is. They contain beta-carotene, Vitamins C, B1, B2 and other vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids. In fact, they are similar in regards to their macronutrient content, providing a significantly higher source of calories as energy from carbohydrates. However, it is wolfberries diversity and high concentration of micronutrients that brand it as an exceptional health food. Specifically, 11 essential minerals, 22 trace minerals, 7 vitamins and 18 amino acids profile extraordinary micronutrient richness.
If I were raised by wolves, I’d be eating me some wolfberries. Wolf down some wolfberries people!

Smile!

This lil’ guy makes me laugh everytime I see him. Go to a comedy club this month… you won’t regret it, I promise! The endorphins that you will release will make it well worth it.  And for some reason you can never laugh enough in life, so get your laughs worth!  NOW, DAMN IT! :-)

Do What You Feel

When asked why he does all these insane acts that break world records, our modern day Houdini, David Blaine, replied, “No matter how outlandish or how crazy your idea is, nor how many people that tell you not to do it, just listen to your own impulse. Of course, there is going to be a lot of cynicism and backlash, but you just have to pay attention to the good that comes of it.”

David’s feats include balancing on a 56cm circular platform atop a 30m pole for 35 hours, being buried alive in a transparent coffin for a week and surviving inside a massive block of ice for 61 hours, all of which were performed in New York. In 2003, he fasted for 44 days in a suspended acrylic box over the Thames River in London, which the New England Journal of Medicine wrote all about it.

For the Adults!

After building baGOOSE, I started wondering what the Bay Area has for adults that I am not aware of… and so ROAR! was born. You’ll learn where to camp under the redwoods, where to go kayak with whales, where to have a beach bonfire, where to skydive naked, where to hike to waterfalls, etc… etc… and once again, ANYONE can contribute to this Bay Area adventure directory!

For the Kids!

I love children, and as a father I thrive to take my son to fun places… show him a little bit of everything life has to offer here in the Bay Area.  So, I decided to start by creating a directory of Bay Area Fun Places for Kids.  I discovered a TON of new places I never knew existed!  Time to get off this computer and get outside.  Tell BAy Area parents about this site!
